[India News]: Chennai, Oct 16 : Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today said that call charges between India and Sri Lanka would be reduced to Rs. 12 per minute from the previous rate of Rs. 18 with effect from October 21, 2004.

Phone rates between India and Sri Lanka would be cut to Rs. 12 per minute, said BSNL CMD. A. K. Sinha at the launch of international long distance operations here.

The peak hour internet charges would also be cut from Rs. 24 per hour to Rs. 9.60 per hour, while on Sundays and national holidays charges would be Rs. 4.80 per hour, he said.

The ISDN PRI rental deposit will also be slashed to Rs. 1750 per month from Rs. 5000 now, with effect from November 1. (ANI)
