IRVING, Texas, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- For an unprecedented third year in a row, Verizon Avenue has been awarded Broadband Properties Magazines Cornerstone Award as Broadband Provider of the Year. The award is given in recognition of excellence in providing broadband service to multifamily communities.
«Verizon Avenues ability to incorporate the latest technology with excellent customer service convinced us that they deserved our Broadband Provider of the Year again this year,» said Joel Schofield, executive editor, Broadband Properties Magazine. «Not only does Verizon Avenue provide wireless hotspots as part of the bulk plan, but they took on the challenge of providing high-speed wireless broadband to homes on the Sauk-Suittle Indian reservation in Washington state and to a rural southwest Virginia town. Theyve demonstrated great creativity in meeting the needs of their clients.»
The Cornerstone Award winners are based on nominations made in four categories and judged by a committee of industry leaders, analysts and writers for service performed in the past 12 months. The award winners were announced today at the Broadband Properties Magazine Annual Summit being held in Irving.«We are so honored to be recognized for three years running by Broadband Properties Magazine,» said William F. Wallace, chief executive officer, Verizon Avenue. «The industry is undergoing tremendous changes, and my team has worked incredibly hard to stay one step ahead of the latest technology while continuing to exceed customers expectations for basic service.»
Verizon Avenue sells its popular bundles two ways -- on an individual basis to multi-family community residents or to property owners who can buy the service in bulk as an amenity and offer it to all residents.
